One end of the strut has a small clip that you have to reklease to get the old one off. The other end just pops off when you twist it. Look at the new ones (or the trunk struts) and you'll see what I mean. Helps to either have a rod or something to hold the top up or another person. The front strut attachment point is accessed from behind the seats close to the outer edge of the car (from the inside of course). The rear one is accesed through tht etrunk.Take a flashlight and look around under there and you'll see them. You kind of have to twist around to look up under there. Installation is pretty much the same in reverse except you just pressure fit them onto the posts. You don't have to pop the clip to install them. Juat wiggle them around a bit with a fair amount of pressure and they'll snap on.

Easy job. I just did it two weeks ago. Doing the trunk ones next week.

Thanks for the input jwt1603. I just did my trunk struts and I want to get started on the Tonneau cover and make sure there was no special approach.
Cheers,
Mark

Hi Mark,
link to your redondant thread with a solution . Do you know you can edit the title of a thread instead of writing a second one on the same topic?
just edit, advanced mode, and change the title . You can also ask moderator to merge the thread, in case in makes sense.
good luck.
