Default How to access struts for waterfall?

How do I access the struts for the waterfall? What do I have to remove? It looks like it should be obvious but I've damaged my share of parts doing a job that appeared to be easy.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Mark

The piece that you're referring to is the Tonneau cover. The waterfall is the piece between the seats that the Tonneau cover lock into. I unfortunately cannot help any further as I own a Z06.

I changed my struts on my trunk, hood and tonneau cover when I got my C5 three years ago. The tonneau cover was the hardest, but I climbed into the trunk and changed them from in there. I had to leave the tonneau cover down to do that because you can't have the trunk and tonneau cover open at the same time.

Thanks for the reply helphos. I was hoping there was some technique where you could raise the tonneau cover and trunk at the same time. Since that is not possible, I thought I might go into the trunk area by crawling in behind the seat with the tonneau vertical, so the struts were stretched out when I changed them. I'm supposed to get my struts before the end of Sept so I'll be waiting until then before I give it a shot.

Mark

Thanks TCFS. That is the exact info I was hoping to find. My struts are supposed to arrive before the end of the month and I'll be ready to install them.
Cheers,
Mark
