Default couple of codes, please help..

99 frc, 6 spd, twin flow intake, otherwise stock

Check engine light started to come when we were leaving Roebling Road Raceway in Savannah over Turkey-Day weekend. (Racing was very fun)The light went away by itself and car was running fine. Thought it might have been due to me almost running the car out of gas at the track, but after figuring out how to get the codes, and learning what they are, I do not think that is the case.

The codes that keep coming up now are P0113 and P1111 (Intake Air temperature Sensor Circuit High Voltage -B and IAT Sensor Circuit Intermittent High Voltage -C. The check engine light does not always come up at the same time as the codes. I can clear the codes, drive the car, no light, stop and check codes, both are there. Also sometimes U1096, U1064, and U1016 (Loss of Comms w/ IPC, DCM, and PCM) are present, but not always in conjunction with the check engine light.

Wife is starting to worry about the light, so... Any ideas??? What can I check? What would cause hi volts on an air sensor? Do I need to take it to a dealer? Warranty is out on this one so I would rather not, but the light must go. Thanks in advance, Jake.

PS - These codes were also on the vert, but after I cleared the codes on it, none came back at all (I also have never had the check engine light on it)

The IAT is a little senser in your air intake. You can find it and pull it out to see if it is physically damaged. Since you were racing, it may have been hit by something. It is a very cheap part that you can replace yourself. Also check to see if the wires are in good shape that connect to the sensor.
Good luck,
JB

Some other members have found the wire to be a little tight going to the sensor at the plug. This in turn caused the wire to break internally. Check that first.
