misfire on cylinder 2 code
Which cylinder on my 98 LS1 is cylinder2? I have a code for misfire on that cylinder and will probably get a new coil pack and wire after checking the spark plug unless there's another cure

Try first to switch plug , then plugwire and last the coilpack on cylinder 2 with cylinder 4 and observe when ( or if ) the misfire moves to cylinder 4 .
If the misfire is caused by an injector malfunction there is no need or help in replacing plug/wire/coilpack
