2001 D1 Procharged C5, stock motor running around 10 lbs of boost at 550-575 wheel HP. Running 91 Octane in CO.
Goal
Have a fuel system to support up to 600RWHP with 10-20% safety margin on regular 91 pump gas. Utilize as much of current fuel system as makes sense.
Current fuel system - Stock non return style with regulator in the filter (running out of fuel at 5600 RPM)
LPE 255 fuel pump
MSD voltage style boost a pump
80 lbs injectors
Proposed fuel system - Return Style with regulator on the fuel rails
LPE 255 fuel pump (Keep)
Racetronix hotwire kit (from alternator to pump)
Racetronix Fuel Line, Regulator and Rail Kit
80 lbs injectors
I tried getting ahold of Racetronix technical support, but have not been able to get anyone on the phone, today is Canandian Holiday so that's no helping. Hoping to get a second opinion from you guys!
Do you think the proposed set up will meet the goals? My concerns are the the pump may be too small, and the injectors too large? Tuner wants to ditch the BAP with the return style system. Not sure, I Iooked around the forum as most folks going this directions are in the 675-800 HP range, so trying to get an idea of the lower end of the spectrum.
Thanks!

If you're running out of fuel I doubt just adding a bigger wire to the pump is going to give you that much more flow. If you throw money at a few little mods and it doesn't come out right again, how far off moneywise were you from just putting in a bigger pump? 600whp is like 700 gross HP so a 255lph pump is going to get you in the neighborhood of 650, generally speaking anyway. Maybe not in Colorado elevation.
I have heard/read that going to a return style fuel system the same pump would flow more fuel and have better latency with the regulator on the rails. To install the hotwire kit they have to uninstall the fuel pump anyway, so weighing if a larger pump / double pump is worth another $600 bucks.
I went with a 450 what is it gallon flow per hour works good enough we unhooked the boost a pump which wears out smaller pump faster anyway. A&A v3 Si SC.

Talked to the tuner and Racetroix, we are planning on swapping out the 255 for the 450 in the new fuel return set up. Thank you for the advice and opinions!
Shame I have to cut the fuel bucket, but seems there is no other way in a 2001 to get a big fuel pump in there. Seems a little stressful to keep an eye on the gas gauge and not drive hard under 1/4 tank.
