Re: Fikse Wheels? (QS z06)
I seem to recall seeing repair info on their web site... I had a boogered up rim that wasn't too bad and had the curb rash turned by a machinist buddy of mine... so I ended up not needing to replace the outer rim half... I also had an email from them and I think it was around 250 if you send them the wheel (tire unmounted of course) That seems steep.. but as you know FIKSE wheels are not cheap in the first place. Good luck!!
If it is only curb rash or a minor bend, send it to a reputable local shop to be repaired. I know of a couple of places in Atlanta. http://www.fikse.com/ did have prices on the webpage, but I do not find it on the new webpage.
Had Fikse widen my rears to 12in so that I could run a 335/30/18 tire. Talked to Jim Fikse and they did a great job. Only problem is the new rims look better than the front ones.lol LPE had my car and they billed the Fikse price in with the mini tubs, and other items I was having done. Think it cost about $250.00 for both.
They were very professional and the turn around time was quick.
