2001 Z06 Will not Start
I've been chasing down problems with my 2001 Z06 since I've had it but it had always been drivable. Recently, I went to take her out and she wouldn't start up. I could roll it forward or backward a bit and get it started but that temporary fix was soon exhausted as well. After some research, I replaced the starter, battery, fuses and theft deterrent relay but still cannot get it started. I have the security light flashing on the dash when the key is in the ignition and I can hear the relay click when I turn the key. I replaced the ignition switch last year and am stumped as to what else could be the issue. Anyone have any ideas?

First it’s always good to check the battery before you start it and make sure it’s fully charged at 12.66 volts and all connections and both ends of the battery cables are clean and secure…does the security light go out in a few seconds after you turn the key to on ??…did a shop replace these components or did you and was this recent ??…if a shop did these repairs and it not starting it seems like a come back for that shop !!..only 1 of those parts should have been changed…not 4 if they were competent !!

The security light should be off not flashing, you mention that you can hear a relay click, is it the TDR? The next thing to check is the presence of 12 volts on the purple wire at the TDR and at the switch terminal on the starter solenoid.
