New to the forums. Ive been doing a bunch of research on this and cannot seem to pin point where the water leak is coming in my car. I have a 2000 C5 base model. Ive read almost every water leak post on this, and other, forums. I've taken out the drains, they were clear. I ran water though them just to make sure. I checked the AC drain, clear. I bought a complete weather stripping kit for the convertible top, installed and put dielectric grease on them. I also went as far as putting a sealant on the cowl where the rivets come through. Also I put sealant around the door hinges aswell. Nothing seemed to work. I currently have the interior gutted, no carpets no dash etc. When I wet the car with a hose I cannot see any visual leaks anywhere. The last hurricane we had, the entire inside of the car was flooded there's a water line up to the radio. I replaced all electrical in the car so far, wiring harnesses and modules. While everything is apart I would like to remedy this situation, so next time I don't have a swimming pool in my car.
Welcome to the forum! I've never heard of having standing water up to the radio unless the entire car was sitting in deep water (in which case nothing you do can stop that). You seem to have tried all of the solutions that I know of. The rear window on convertibles can leak, but you say you have a base model. You've done just about everything there is to do. You might want to make sure that your windows are properly adjusted. Also make sure that you have grease all around your top. I know you said you cleaned your drains. Just to make sure you didn't miss any, there are 4 "utters", 3 on the drivers side, and 1 on the passenger side. There are also drains around the edge of the trunk. You'll want to make sure those are clear as well. I really can't think of anything else. Good luck!

As far as the drains under the cowl, I did get the 3 on the driver side and the 1 on the passenger side. I did not know there was a drain near the trunk, I will definitely check that out today after work! As far as the water line up to the radio, the car sits outside on the street. Last hurricane NY was hit hard. Some streets look liked ponds, to the point where cars were completely submerged in the roadway. I was not around to see if the vette was submerged or the leak is just that bad. No indications of water in the oil or cylinders. But Ive been fighting this leak for a while now, and when its raining decently, the passenger floor gets soaked.
