Help, Blackwing..need coupler?
Have my stock intake off (it's a 1999). I got a used blackwing but the coupler did not come with it. The MAF intake side is smaller than the filter outtake area and I think I need the coupler to connect it.
What size coupler (or plain rubber hosing) do I need to connect it?

When I did my '99 I didn't need to use an additional coupler. I bought mine used and it came with one but that was for use on a '01 up. The rubber pieces that are on the stock setup should work with the Blackwing on your '99.

If I recall, the pre-2001 Blackwing comes with a coupler that will mate the different size of the MAF to its open end.
Sounds like you are missing that piece, contact a forum vendor, you should be able to buy one.
