Default TPS wire

Man you bet today stumbled across i guess the previous owner had messed up two of the tps terminals. Two of them were bent down so i straightened them out but not sure i checked the tps to make sure no terminals were bent before proceeding to reinstall the tps connector. The problem is they may have made contact with the connector before not sure after once opened up depends if the bottom terminals got bent further down then the top. If it seems to be running fine is there anyway to tell if i should replace the harness connector? The connector is about 12$ on amazon or ebay. Curious as to why the c5 has 6 wires vs the f-body 3 wire connector.

The C5 TPS sensor has 2 potentiometers with each having 3 wires (5 volt ref, signal and reference ground) so that’s 6 wires total.

Great, You think if any of these wires weren't making contact to the tps that it would set a code for tps or maybe just have other problems?

Just to clarify, Yes it will throw a code if any of the pins to the tps aren't making contact is what you're saying? Thanks for your help. I dont want to wire in a new connector as it messes up the original harness but will if need be.

Yes, it will throw a code if any of pins aren’t making contact.
