The one annoying thing about my 02 is the road noise. Anyone have a simple (remember, I'm a drummer  ) homemade insulation solution I could follow?
I would try the Dynamat Xtreme... Suppose to be great stuff I got some for my ride and will be puttin it on soon... For stereo application though the road noise dosent bother me.
HeyNow:
You probably already know, but dump the runflats!! :yesnod: Big interior noise decrease and better ride, handling and traction.
These are all good products. Add VB-2 from Cascade Electronics to your list. It is about 1/8 " thick, with adhesive backing and is easily cut to fit. It will add weight too. but it worked for me. :yesnod: :)
I followed the mikemercury MOD with the FrostKing insulation. It reduced road noise about 50%. It took me 3 hours to do just the rear of the vehicle myslef. I also built a partition out of 3/4" insulation and that cut the noise another 50%.
It's now much nicer to drive with the radio at lower volume but I could still stand to have it even quieter. I'll likely dump the run-flats when they die and replace 'em with regular tires.
