I would not think so he snow balled you, there is short someplace, my car sits sometime in the garage for month and fires right up.
Did he replace radio, if so might be starting point it was hooked up wrong. If that isn't case, what is new in the car that it didn't come with that he might of added, is a good start.
Sounds reasonable….the only thing mentioned was the hazard button sticks and alarms when turn signals are used. I just got the car a week ago and intended to have that fixed, now more than ever. Thanks for the thoughts

Your battery should NOT go dead in a week…a month yes a week no…you may have a parasitic drain…you will need your mechanic to diagnose this…the more your battery discharges it will not last very long and you will need to replace it again !!

Not a bad idea to keep the car on a battery tender when not being driven, but as others have said, the battery, under normal conditions, should not go dead in a week. Something needs checking to see why the battery goes dead in such a short period of time.
Even a battery with an RC of 100 minutes should not go dead in a week. It is not the battery.
I agree it's not the battery reserve minutes causing it to go dead in a week.
There may be an excessive drain or maybe the battery is not being fully charged.
Just something to consider when you eventually replace the battery.
I totally agree with the "hive" here on your issue.
Things to remember include the fact that there is significant parasitic draw on C5's. Several things are "awake" even though the car is not on or being driven. I too recommend a trickle-charger when not using your ride more than a few days. In fact, I was able to nurse the OEM battery just short of 10 years due to the usage of a quality trickle-charger.
Also to remember, when the battery voltage does get low, our C5's do the very strangest things. Don't ask me how I know, but please take into account.
How old is your battery? I had a 1 and half year old battery that would go dead in a week as well from the previous owner if not started every few days that was out a warranty by half a year. Replaced it with a 1 year warranty VP-78 from walmart for around 50$. My volt gauge reads 13.1 and 13.4 at times but under the engine fuse box the fuses would read 13.7 and 14.2 with the car running.
Do you have a multimeter? You can figure out if you've got a parasitic drain and which circuit is causing the problem. Several threads around where the process is explained.
There are two things you have to do, connect a DMM configured as a ammeter in series between negative battery terminal and negative battery cable and select 10A scale to measure current after twenty minutes with the car off. Normal sleep mode current us 25ma, if you do have excessive current draw you will have to measure voltage across the fuses, there is a video on how to do this.
There’s another possibility…. Is your charging system working properly? Could be either it is not driven long enough to fully charge, or just not charging as fast as it should.
