C5 shocks/upgrade
I've read about performance upgrades where C5's have had Z06 shocks put on them. Where is a good place to get those? I had placed on order on a Corvette website for 2005 C5 Z06 shocks, but after a month of never getting a ship date, I cancelled. As it turns out, I think they were placing the order with a company in China and didn't disclose that. They were supposed to be GM shocks. So, now that I've dealt with that, I thought I would check with you guys. Where is a good place to buy Z06 shocks? My vette is 1999 FRC. I am not sure what the suspension or shocks are, but when I got the car with 68,000 miles on it, it handled very well, very flat in the corners. Has 122,000 on it now and shocks are not great.
