Hatch Issue in Cold Weather
Hello:
I would welcome some counsel, please. During the summer/warmer seasons of the year, the hatchback on my 2004 couple opens normally. When the outside temperature is below 50F, the hatch only opens a fraction of an inch. This issue seemed to occur after the rear window was replaced a few years ago. Has anyone experienced the issue? What I wonder is if the struts where new and perhaps too stiff? Would that be it? Can these hatch struts be adjusted?
