I helped a friend install one that was the fabric and rear glass only.I think it came from Ebay but good quality and installed pretty easily.May look there and see what you can find.

Thank you. Do you know the approx cost? Would like to have a few more people chime in, as sooner or later, all verts will be in a top replacement situation..

Look up Robbins tops, they seem to be a good well known brand, also at one time they would list installers that use Robbins brand around the nation.
By the way by shopping around years ago, I found out by asking if I can hang out at the shop, because I lived over an hour away and had no ride home.
Anyways a shop in Scottsdale AZ had to admit he would drive my car to another place to have the work done, he wouldn’t say where exactly but it was in Phoenix, and my car may be there more than one day.
First off the guy is just a middle man, 2nd who knows how many people are going to be joy riding my car, is it going to be parked out on a street or parking lot in a sketchy area?
I think Robbins gives instructions on how to install their tops, sounds like you need a staple gun, spray adhesive and lots patience.

With respect to cost, I replaced the top on my C4 a few years ago, and found that the weatherstrip also had to be replaced, and that cost around $200 or so. Fast forward to 2022, and I replaced the C4 with an AE C5 (2003), and it needs a top. My question is this: Do you need to replace all the weatherstrip when you replace the convertible top on the C5? Is it as expensive as the C4 weatherstrip?
