Default Side mirror memory issue

My mirrors "forget" my preffered adjustment, and go back to factory setting upon unlocking car. Every time. Very annoying.
Since I've disconnected my OEM seats, and replaced them with Corbeau seats, I think this might be the cause. No communication between PCM and original memory.
As a long press on button usually keeps the setting of both seats and mirrors.
Any thoughts? Suggestions for a fix?
Thanks.

Since I'm the only driver, I put my side mirrors exactly where I wanted them and unplugged the door connectors for this very issue.

They've been fine ever since

Very annoying thing with these cars. I tried everything I could think of to resolve this. I never found a fix. The work around is to use the key to lock/unlock the car. I installed an aftermarket keyless entry kit and this issue has never occurred again.

That's an interesting bypass.. Both methods.
I'm still thinking it has to do with the relay not getting a signal from the dumped seats, hence reverting to default.

My car is stock (has the factory seats). It did it all the time when I used the factory remotes. Drove me crazy.

Maybe getting rid of a fuse for the memory seats function would help? It started 99% positively after removing seats.
Does it even exist?
Maybe a different remote entry fob?

I don't know about the fuse. Using a different remote did not help for me. I think that the seat swap was coincidental in your case. This is a fairly common issue with these cars. My only guess is that when a factory remote is used the car will set the memory functions saved. After 20 years the micro chips and processors have degraded over time and not able to accurately find the "saved memory".

Didn't realize it was that common. Frustrating.

After saving the driver’s mirror position multiple times on all 3 storage combinations mine will work correctly. But the next time I disconnect the battery I'll need to start all over resaveing until it finally holds the memory again.....

I have the same problem and "solved" it by using the key to unlock the door. I'll try this method of saving the mirror position 3 times!. It's nice to be able to use the remote fob without having to readjust the mirror.

I unplugged the motor connector for the mirror eventually. Since I'm the only driver, it's rare to need any mirror adjustment once they're in the right spot.

I tried replacing the mirror with a non-memory unit, but that accomplished nothing at all. The non memory unit lacks position sensors for feedback to the control module, but the control module was still trying to make the memory adjustments like before.
