Did anyone with the Nippon-Densos (Denso-Type) have missing pucks or larger than should be spark plug gaps??? Just curious. My car seems to run fine but wondered if changing plugs would help anything.
Does anyone know the RapidFire (A/C) Platinum number for the C5??? I have gotten conflicting answers and suprisingly from A/C that they don't make a RapidFire plug for the C5 yet (really???)
Thanks in advance

Re: Anybody whose 'Vette came with Denso-Type Plugs (silversport)
My Z06 heads came to me with Denso plugs, about 3000 miles. The plugs looked good, gap was all uniform at .060 or so each. No pucks missing that I could tell. They made me nervous though and I put in TR55's.
Re: Anybody whose 'Vette came with Denso-Type Plugs (silversport)
I replaced my Denso's with NGK iridiums at 7000 mi when I put the FLP headers on. The Denso's were all gapped at 0.057". The "pucks" on Densos are a small, very thin round raised area on the ground electrode. I don't think puck is really an appropriate description of the Densos - not at all like the AC Delco pucks.
I would stay away from any plug with a puck. The Delcos all seem to pretty routinely lose their pucks. Look on AllThrottleNoBottle's FLP install web page and you'll see what happens to the Delcos gap when the puck departs.
Re: Anybody whose 'Vette came with Denso-Type Plugs (ALLTHROTTLE&NOBOTTLE)
AC Delco calls for #12's. P/N 25332827 work fine.
Just put them in my 00 & 99 GMC 4.8. :D
Run nice and smooth.
Thank you, thank you, thank you...I have been asking this for over a year...I purchased 2 sets of the #12 and I couldn't get AC/Delco or anyone else to confirm this number...great...I can use the other set in my Avalanche 5.3... :D :seeya  :flag :chevy
