It shouldnt void the warranty, but it wouldnt hurt to check with your dealer. Some dealers are more strict than others. Incidentally, there is a law that states aftermarket parts cannot void a warranty unless it can be proven to cause a particular malfunction. The AA exhaust mod sounds AWESOME...Blew me away when I heard it about a week ago on someone else's car. Cant wait to put it on mine.
I ordered mine last night. I am looking forward to hearing it (besides on a website). I was going to buy the Borla quad tips but figured for that price it is worth a try. All I really want is a little more sound. I mean for God's sake it is a vette! You ought to hear it! Right? BTW I also order the x-pipe. If anyone else has heard this thing I would like some more imput. Of course it is all personal preference, but I am basically flying blind on hope it is what I want and if not I will buy the Borla's.
A mod can only void the part of your warranty covering whatever it is that was adversly affected by your mod.
Considering that there is no way that the AA exhaust mod can negatively affect any part of your car, save the mufflers if you screw up the install, it cannot void any part of your warranty.
Thanks, that makes me feel better about going ahead and trying it. It would be nice not to have to fork over the big bucks. What is kind of funny is I just got a call from my credit card company asking about all these new charges for "car parts" on my credit card! I bought my C5 three weeks ago and got the MOD FEVER. I told my wife that it was because I started just using one credit card for my purchases rather than spreading out among 3 of them. Don't worry though, I only put on them what I can pay off. All balances = $0
Holy Smokes! This is the first mod I have done to the vette and I can't stop laughing everytime I rev the engine. I LOVE IT! I just had it done on Monday. This is how all vettes should sound. You won't regret it. It made the exhaust a tiny bit bassier at idle and normal driving. When you mash the go pedal it sounds awesome. It sure puts those rotten Mustangs in their place real quick.
I haven't seen the A&A exhaust. Where do you find them?
It's a pipe that is welded between the exhaust pipe going into the muffler and the innermost pipe coming out of the muffler. Holes are cut into each pipe and the added pipe is welded in. The effect is that a portion of the exhaust flow bypasses the muffler and goes out the tail pipe, thereby increasing sound. I had it on my 98 for several years, but am trading out the entire exhaust system for a Z06 Titanium exhaust.

A&A Corvette Specialties should appear as a button on the left side of your screen. I have the mod and enjoy the sound. The exhaust guy at the speed shop who installed it was pleasantly surprised by the results.
I get more excited with every post! Looking forward even more for mine to come in. A & A seem to be very good to deal with. I got a total of 3 e-mail confirmations when I ordered. One was from Andy himself and another had the tracking number with a link to the UPS website. 1st class setup IMHO.
Here's the one of them they sent me:
Hi Geoff, Received your order. I'll get the parts shipped out tomorrow and e-mail you back with the UPS tracking number.
Thanks, ANDY
