C5 6 speed swap
Hey guys I have a 1997 c5 corvette and it’s an automatic right now but I got everything to 6 speed swap it but had a few question. Am I able to drop the automatic out of it and plop in the 6 speed without messing with the rear of the motor? Also will I need a new computer for the manual?

You will have to mess with the rear of the engine in the sense of swapping the auto flex plate for the manual flywheel. Smart practice says you should also replace the rear main seal while you're in there. I believe you do need a computer reprogram, but please let someone smarter than me answer that question.
