Default 2 step rpm limit for flames

I just installed a 2 step on my c5z and want to
spit flames as I'm holding down the gas not when
I let go my rev limit is set to 3300. How do I do
this? Car is stock besides long tube to straight
pipe.

Can An auto cammed header car use a 2 step? say 3500 or 3000 floored but if the car is in drive i guess you cant use two step at the track unless you have transbrake. So 2 step is only for 6 speed cars or with transbrake?

the whole point of a two step is a rev limiter for launching to be more consistent, the newer autos have built in launch control not sure about the manuals, I assume they do as well, but in the case of a manual you can free use it as long as the clutch is all the way down. That’s the way I have mine wired up. On my 2018 camaro ss that I had was an auto that I also installed a two step with an external button but I my used it in neutral to make some noise since it already had launch control built in. Transbrake just another form of rev limiting expect better only since it allows no power loss through the drivetrain, with the combination of a 2 step it allows to build up boost at the starting line.

So on a stock 99 auto trans converter 3.15 gear with cam and headers theres no way to have it 2500 2 stepped at the launch vs idle and floored on green. I have 368whp cammed header stock auto 99 c5. Dont want to damage anything.

not completely sure I found this forum on c4 but talks about autos with 2 step

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...n-an-auto.html

Didn’t want to run into trouble myself with a two step so I went with manual to eliminate that issue.

Gas did go up to 4.60$ premium. Does anyone run 87 or 89 octane in their dynotuned cammed header cars? And do most tuners leave the knock retard sensors sensitivity stock so it will pull timing with less octane? And is there a way to damage a dynotuned cammed engine running 87 octane? I do get about the same mileage stock unless flooring it.
