Default got the "Pull Key Wait 10 secs" message

I installed the LMC5 a few months ago. Got the "Pull Key Wait 10 secs" message today, first time. Will cutting the brown wire solve this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Don't cut anything!

Did you pull the key and wait 10 seconds?

The NJ State Inspection station got this message when they screwed up moving my car from one spot in the inspection line to another. Then they continued to screw it up more trying to move it again.
Finally they called me over and I pulled the key, counted to 10 and it started. And has ever since.

I passed inspection.

I too got this message at the filling station ~2 months after the LMC5 install so... I pulled the key, waited 10+ sec, then drove home. Next day did "brown wire" mod and have not had the issue since.

My 2¢

I pulled the key and waited the 10 seconds, started no problem and no message.

When you did the brown wire mod, did you cut the brown wire that you just installed into large pink BCM connector? Compliance Parts says to cut the LMC5 short brown wire loop. I'm assuming that CP means the loop formed by the brown wire that you just installed, is that correct?
Thanks.

How long ago did you get the Pull key and wait 10 seconds?
I'd prefer not to cut anything but if the message keeps recurring, I'll probably do the brown wire mod.

Thanks.
No. There is an actual brown wire loop coming out of the LMC5 module. Cut that loop and cap both ends. You have to connect the brown wire with the metal end on it into the big pink plug as shown on the diagram. The metal end is covered by the black cap until the mod is done.

I finally found a pic of the LMC5 module. I'd forgotten that it had that brown wire loop. I'll probably do the brown wire mod this weekend.
Thanks for the input guys.
