Default Which wires for C6 seat plug conversion?

I've seen they sell this conversion harness for putting c6 seats into c5 which looks pretty simple. Does anyone know which wires do I need to tap into on the C6 seat harness like in the conversion harness shown in the pic?

Take a look at this thread for the info.
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...rs-pinout.html

I can answer your questions, I have done a couple of these installs for friends.

Gary

BTW, if you have the telescopic steering column going to the C6 or C7 seats will disable that function. In one of the several threads on C6/C7 seats in a C5 I posted a document covering how to keep the column working.
Here is a link to a thread that has the document in it, https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...tips-pics.html.

Thanks for that The seats also have the heat function and all the c6 modules are in there too. I wonder how hard it would be to wire in the heat as well? As far as switches for heat, I modified the TCS button panel to accommodate a bunch of switches for whatever so that would work out perfect!

Have a set installed in a C5 that have the heated seats fully functional.
I have the info written out in a note book, need to put it into word and take a few pictures.
Give me a few days to do that.

Moving over to C5 Tech. Good luck getting everything to work - sounds like a very good swap.

Default C6-C7 seat wiring in a C5

Here is a document that covers all of the wiring to get a C6 seat functioning electrically in a C5. This covers the telescopic column and heated seats.
Let me know if there are any questions.

Thanks a bunch for that For the seats - did you hardwire it or get the other end of the connectors from somewhere? I am trying to see if I can find the connectors so it would make it easy to remove the seats if needed but worse case I will hard wire it.

I scrounged the connectors from wrecked cars and added other connectors to hook up the switches.
I am currently working on upgrading my C6 with the factory seat heaters. This is a bit less involved but still some work.

Hi Gary, have you seen these switches? I like that they have the LED built in, etc. but I'm not sure if they are momentary switches or permanent switching as none of the listing say so

Those won't work for the C6 seat heaters.
The description for the switch should include (on)-off-(on) to indicate that it is a momentary switch.

Oh damn, I was gonna be all fancy smancy with it lol. Oh and about the connector I found universal male and female connectors in 4,8,12,16 pin configurations that I could solder on so that would work!
