I am almost done rebuilding my LS1 out of my 99 FRC and came across a ported LS2 intake manifold and aftermarket throttle body for a reasonable cost so I bought it. I only had a LS1 intake so thought I would give this a try so please don't give me too much grief over buying this instead of LS6. My question is what aftermarket fuel rails will work for this intake (and still connect to my factory fuel line) and should get LS2 style injectors( shorter ones)? I did a injector size calculator on Summit and came up with a recommendation of 36lb injectors so would stock LS2 injectors be ok, I read they are 32lbs? My engine is a 347 with small dome forged Wiesco pistons with worked 799 heads ( some porting and bigger valves) with a MS4 cam. I appreciate any advice or references.
The orig LS2 injectors will work fine. They are 33lb/hr.
As will the stock LS2/3 fuel rails.
You will need connector adapters or pig tails to fit the LS2 injectors.
