C5 DIC Reset botton
Hello everyone, i have subscribed here in hopes of finding out what is happening with my DIC reset botton. Basically i can't change any settings in the DIC, like the twilight feature or the easy entry, things like that. I cant even reset the messages from when my gas its low or a tire its low on pressure, hitting reset will simply do NOTHING. It is important to note that the key im using its the 2nd key and not the primary since i dont have it, bought the car like that. Could it be that since the key its not the main one the car simply wont let me change none of the settings?? Just a thought. Thanks in advance for any kind of help.

No main key on a C5. It could be the IPC or the switch. You need a tech2 or tech2 clone to test the cluster to see if the reset switch is always on. Do the other switches work? If they do its probably not a shorted switch. Does the reset switch feel like the others when you press it?

Hey there, thank you for the response. Yes all of the other switches work on the DIC all of the time, no exception. And no, the Reset switch does not feel different from others. I would like to fix the current module since i don't want to make a mess switching it for another one, but its being a pain in the *** tbh...
