I am about to replace the clutch in my car. 48k and its had enough I guess. I am getting the stage 3 cartek from a friend of mine that he bought and never used. My question is where is the best place to pick up a master and slave cylinder. In fact do I need both to complete the clutch install? TIA
I only replaced the slave, but it usually is a good idea to replace them both as one weak and tired component is not a good match to use with a new one. There is another clutch discussion going on right now. Check it out.
I have a Cartek adjustable master cylinder for sale. Let me know if you're interested. My email is tuanle@bmc.com
It has about 8K miles on it. I went the the McCleod dual disk setup when they drop in my 408 motor. And the McCleod setup comes with its own adjustable master cylinder.
