Help needed fixing new issue.
On the door correctors in the accordion how do I de-pin them and replace them? I got the plate down so now I can evaluate any damage. Before I was stuck working inside the door panel only. Now that the wires are in the interior I want to remove the pins and slide heat shrink over all of them to solve the issue.
Another problem that I noticed once I got the connector inside the interior is one of the wires going into the pins seems to have severed as a result of the fire so I need to depin it and fix it with a new splice. By the way that plate came off easily, thank you for the help guys.
How do I get that out of the connector to add a new splice to the severed pin? What tool do I need to remove this. I've searched the internet for this type of plug being explained with no luck, so I am at a standstill.
Here is the new pics with more of the wire exposed inside the interior. The fire seems to have done very minimal damage overall. It could have been so much worse.
This is after I removed some of the electrical tape to put heat shrink on it this time around. I still got alot to go before its finished.

I am in the process of removing all of the electrical tape all over again to put heat shrink over all of the wires one final time.
Insert the tool into these holes. It will fold the tab down.
Gently pull the wires out.
To replace the terminal you're going to need a special crimping tool.
The new terminals just push in and lock into place.
The next image is the wire that severed its brown on the black connector.
What is that tool called to release the terminal pins? I have an auto crimper I will use.
I went to autozone earlier and asked for such a tool. Almost everyone was baffled that such a tool exists. They had no idea what to even look for.
Is it possible to buy new blue and black connectors or are they specificly part of the interior wiring harness?

Also which color would this crimp auto crimp on. I included a picture of my autocrimper.
I used a small little precision screwdriver to pop the pin out.
I heatshrinked the wires then rewrapped them with electrical tape.
I'm not sure what this pin type is called, but there it is.

I read some of your other posts, and I think you should buy a nice, used, complete door harness for each door, if possible, and rewire the body side. It's a shame what that radio shop did to your car and I'm certain it caused the fire.
To crimp them you need to use a proper crimp tool for that application. There are several, but basically they fold over the wings. I like to call them an "f" crimp, but I've also heard them referred to as a "b" crimp. Personally, I use the proper crimpers designed for such a use. In the case of an mp150 you can purchase either an mp150 crimper or even a weather pack crimper. They are the same crimp and I've used both in such an application. As you go up in size so does the need for a larger cavity crimper as well as removal tool. I'll link below some suggestions on tools that I personally use and are made exactly for your application.

I was hoping to reuse that 150MP, but I'm not sure if it can be re-crimped with what I currently have available.
