I can’t help you. But with these kinds of questions, I’ve found the quickest and easiest and most correct answer comes from your local dealer. Just give them your VIN.

Weatherstripping is discontinued from the dealership. You'll have to go aftermarket at west coast Corvette, ecklers.. ect.

Not all are discontinued. Also, dealers are great for part numbers.

I checked back in our system and found the GM number is 10333466! However, this particular seal I know has indeed been discontinued by GM. We unfortunately discontinued carrying it back in October of 2020 due to no sources available for it. The problem with this seal is that it has a very unique design that GM made for it and it is evidently extremely difficult/expensive for manufacturers to acquire tooling and reproduce them.

The problem we ran into a couple years ago when this happened was basically that no manufacturer wanted to cough up the money to be able to make them, from what we gathered when contacting our reproduction weatherstrip suppliers at that time. Now, it's been a while since we had to stop offering this seal and hopefully a source could be available for new reproductions, I'll have to make some calls and see if anything has changed. But, to my knowledge, this has been a difficult piece to get unfortunately.

I think the main concern from c5 owners I’m this regard is that the your aftermarket strip fails, disintegrates, comes apart etc etc shortly after install after washes, top on and off etc because your material isn’t as durable as the oem material.

if members purchase your seal, do you take returns of the customer experiences issues shortly after install if and when the seal starts failing?

Certainly an understandable concern. We are very picky when it comes to where we source our weatherstrip and rarely have any issues with what is available to us and what we offer. But yes, we certainly stand behind our products and will do our best to make things right given situational circumstances. But like I said, the issue with this particular seal isn't with quality, it's simply that none of our sources even offer it and we can't get it. The way the OEM seal was designed is evidently difficult to replicate and the extreme expense behind acquiring the tooling and doing it properly wasn't deemed worthwhile to manufacturers a couple years ago.

Did you ever find this part? I had my windshield replaced by SafeLite and they totally butchered this piece - it's all bent up and raised along the top of my windshield, so I will need a replacement but can't find one. Would welcome any tips you have if you found one somewhere. Thanks in advance.
