Z06 Axle Back on Base

I have a 99 and looking to add an axle back Z06 exhaust. Any issues with the base H pipe or bolt on issues, or just plug and play?

Bolts right up. With that said, keep your expectations low. It's not particularly louder than stock, you won't gain any notable power, and the weight reduction isn't significant to make a big difference on its own anyway.

You'll need to get the car pretty high off the ground to do the swap, or else cut both exhausts. I'd even take it to a shop for this.

I think I’ll get this done at the shop anyway since it’s going in for the harmonic balancer in a few weeks.

I've done it in my driveway on jackstands, but it is pretty sketchy, I'll admit.
