Default 2003 Corvette power seat issue

The power seats on my car have always worked well. A few days ago my tech was looking for a rattle in the passenger seat. As I expected, he said it's the loose seatback. When he pushed the lever to move the seat forward the motor ran, but the seat would not move (the right front corner lifted a very small amount and twisted slightly). I did try to persuade the seat to move as I pushed the lever, but no help. All other functions work properly (up/down, bolster adjustment, etc). He had no more time that day. I just closely examined the track and could see no obstructions. Does the motor just move one track? I'm a very age-challenged (old) guy. Is there anything else I can check? Removing the seat is way beyond my talents.

Thanks in advance!
Jerry

Removing the seat is literally just removing a few bolts. However, if you don't feel comfortable working on it yourself, let your tech take care of it for you. Good luck!

The seat is all the way back, obstructing the rear bolts. Any ideas?

Thx

The seat track is broken . There is a way to move the seat but it is difficult. it would involve removing the motor from the front of the seat
exposing the cable that when rotated will move the seat. I would try moving it when you are out of the car

Thx ncali! I'll let my much younger tech tackle this job. My passenger seat is rarely used, it broke, but my 190 lb body hasn't damaged the driver's side? Very odd!

Thx
