Default newbie LS1 questions

Hi i’m Andy from the UK

I have an LS1 from a 1999 corvette, i’m currently having this rebuilt so i thought i’d have all the sensors changed whilst i’m at it. I believe there are two types of O2 sensors, Which ones do i need? I’m using the stock ECU that has been flashed but using an aftermarket LS swap wiring loom

The two sensors you should replace before installing the ls1 are the cam and crank sensors, the 02 sensors are important but they can be easily replaced with the engine in.

www.rockauto.com has an excellent parts catalog.
www.gmpartsgiant.com is a good one for dealer-only parts.
