ABS stumper
I have an issue with the ABS on my 2003 Z06 track car. I've read the codes but am having trouble where to go to troubleshoot them I'm hoping you can help.
Here is what I have: C1243, Brake Pressure Modulator valve Pump Motor stalled; C1278, TCS Temporally inhibited by PCM (BGM); C1218 Pump Motor Shorted to voltage or motor open ground.
Hoping you can get me started in the right direction. I'm an old airplane avionics tech and can use a multi-meter but honestly I don't know where to begin. Hoping you can help.
I pulled the car off the track last month after all four brakes locked up and I ruined a set of tires along with scaring myself pretty good. Spin-outs at over 100 mph can be that way.. Thanks again.
