Relocate the OPS. NO MATTER what unit you put in, you will be pulling the intake again if you don't. Plus, if you include a mechanical gauge, you will not be wondering if the car has oil pressure.

Oh, and avoid the GM sensor like Covid19!!! I recommend the El Cheapo@O'Reilly. I've had one in place for 5 years. Its lasted longer than any OEM has, and I've had the car almost 19 years!!
Thanks! I did...I also drilled a round hole a little larger than the video below at 11:20, directly above the sensor...easy out and pretty simple to accomplish (all of 25 minutes removing the panel). Also will seal it up with a rubber plug or removed drilled plug. Waiting for the the sensor relocation device to arrive and more thoughts on the oil sensor unit itself:
