I have the typical AC issues in the 99 - warm on driver side, cool on passenger. When I first bought the car, I had these issues; checked the relays, grounds, fuses and without any direct correlation, the issue fixed itself and all was normal - cool air out of all vents.
Fast forward a few weeks to today, and I noticed that the issue has returned, I have B0361 H and B0441 H codes. When I go to reset the codes in DIC, I hear the HVAC "resetting" itself and maneuvering the blend doors, etc then the same H codes return (they don't show as C). After doing the HVAC code reset several times and starting the car, there is no change. What is also strange is that air is coming out of all vents and doesn't seem to change when I alter the HVAC mode.
Tried resetting the HVAC codes again but 0361 H and B0441 H keep coming back, with warm on left and cool on the right.
It's frustrating because this problem fixed itself before and now it's acting funny again. I will try to pull fuse #27 at some point today and see if that gets me anywhere.
Ok, pulling fuse 27 and reseating seems to have made the driver side cooler, but air is still coming out of all vents - defrost is cool, driver facing is warm, and passenger is all cool. Just disconnected the negative battery terminal to see if a full computer reset will help.
Left the battery disconnected for a 1/2 hour and reconnected, still having the same issues. Also, when I go to change modes, the air flow isn't changing with most of it coming out of the front defrost on the cooler side. Codes are still B0361 H and B0441 H.
New development - the air blowing out of all vents might be a vacuum issue as I have read here on other threads. Over the weekend, I had my car at the shop and the manifold was removed for the oil sender, exhaust, and gaskets. I am beginning to wonder if the vacuum line wasn't reconnected? Anyone?

IIRC, when you pull the fuse, you must leave it out for like 5-10 minutes, otherwise the "memory" wont clear......
From my experience, this sounds like an actuator issue. In my 1998, I had to replace the actuator (it is under the dash on my model) because the gear inside the actuator had broken.
The actuator is the manual gear that moves when you turn the temperature dial. If the temperature is hot on the passenger side and cold on the driver side even when you move the dial colder on the passenger side, the actuator being broken would explain it.
I tried the Fuse 27 pull (as noted above) and that is a good place to start. But if the driver side is cool, passenger side is hot, and you have dual climate control, the actuator could be the issue.
I can post or dm you the manual instructions if you would like them. Hopefully this helps.
The shop fixed the blower mode issue, it was a vacuum line, and they didn't charge to make the repair. I didn't push the envelope on the hot/cool air issue as I believe that's the actuator, which I might just take to the Chevy Dealership for the 2-year warranty.
