Headlight failed to raise up
Anyone got this problem?
Is there anything need to check before bring it to the dealer?
I got extended warranty but with 200$ deductable so I don't want to bring it in because of a losen bolt for 200$.

I have the same problem everytime I wash my vette. It usually happens for a couple of hours then works fine. Dealer wanted to charge me a couple of hundred to replace head light motor furthermore could not give me a specific cause for the problem -- so I passed. What ever ultimately happens, please post your resolution. Good luck.

There is a relay near the passenge side headlight (just in front of it). That's probably your culprit. Mine was cracked and I had to replace it...

what are the symptoms? Does it make a noise?
When turn it off, sine the HL just got raised up about 1 inch, so it's closed so quick but the motor still keeps ruuning to complete the cycle.
To me, look like the mounting bolt between the motor and the HL is loose or may be a broken braket ...
Mine is also on the passenger side !!!
