R headlamp

I did a minor adjustment on right headlamp, last night I turned lights on, they came up but the left one went partially down. I pulled over and bought up manually but wouldn’t come up completely, but 80% up. No grinding noise both are now brass gears, I’m wondering if I needed a spacer when re install y gear cover not sure. IMO, get new motors. No muss no fuss and will last you another 20 years

New motors aren't needed unless there is a grinding noise. There is a GM TSB for your issue. Give it a quick google. you'll find it easily.

^ not true. I've had issues with my motors before that were unrelated to the gear. They do fail over time.

you probably had an electrical problem. Motors don’t fail unless they have a grinding noise. Follow gm’s bulletins.
