exhaust cut outs
Looking at installing exhaust cut out for my completely stock- way too quiet 1999 vert What size is the stock exhaust 2 1/2 or 3? High mile car and dont want headers or complete new Corsa or BB system.

2.5" since you're not changing anything else. BUT you could get a used set of BB or SLP loudmouth for what it's going to take/cost buying and installing electric cutouts. Even having the current exhaust piping cut after the rear axles and welding new pipe to exit rear would be cheap as well.

thanks have done this previously on 2 other cars and we do it ourselves. car was cheap and high mileage otherwise I would put headers and maybe Corsa or Borla system on it Thanks was just checking on size
