I just bought some Vettelights LED brake lights and side markers. They included a resistor harness that I installed under the dash. Since installing the lights and the resistor, I intermittently get a 1295 code on my DIC. I checked that all the wires are seated, and the lights are working as intended. I reached out to the vendor for their thoughts as well. Anyone else experienced this?
Heard back from Vettelights and they are sending me another resistor harness that plugs into the light itself, separate from the hyper flash. Though, I didn’t have any codes on tonight’s cruise.
Just purchased a set of these Led Lights last week, had the same problem as you and Vette Lights send me a set of resisters installed them and kept it away from everything because the resisters get hot. Works great now until you try to turn on the 4 way flashers then you will get that code again. When you shut off the flasher then the code goes away but stays in the history code. I almost never use the 4 way flashers so it really not a big deal. But if someone can figure how to solve that issue I am all ears.
Thank Don.
Same here: LED brake/tail lights were rejected by my '04 vert., even with the installed hyper-flash harness. Purchased from another un-named vendor who was kind enough to issue me credit for the LED's. I went ahead and replaced the old original 3057 duel element bulbs with new Sylvania 3057's and all is well. Interesting that the new front parking/turn signal LED's that replaced the original bulbs presented no problems whatsoever.

Yes, I’m at the exact same point. Resistor harness sent from VetteLights took care of TCS 1295 for park, brake, signal. I now get it only when turning on the hazards. They are sending another harness tomorrow.
@lftmdrm do you have LED third brake or front corner lights as well?

I have the LED 3rd brake light and the 2 side marker LED in the quarter panel. As for the corner lights I went with a different company because the Vette Light ones just have a small amber line running across. Don't get me wrong these light for the front look nice but the ones I have seem to have a better flavor for me. They have a bright white line all the way across and switches to amber while blinking and the Bulb inside the housing is a switchback from amber to while. Here is the Website where I bought them: C5 (97-04) Corvette (sharplightinnovations.com)
I have the same issue with the hazards. Would be very interested in a fix. 1998 Corvette
DarrellWhat we did find out is that the 3rd brake light was the problem. What I had to do is switch off the strobe mode and run it thru all the testing by not using any resistors and it works fine with using the 4 way flashers but as usual here comes the glitch. While the 4 way flashers are flashing and you step on the bakes with the ignition on [ Engine not started] the Traction Control code comes on. If you turn it off and turn ignition back on then it is back to normal operation. Cole is working with the Engineers to see what kind of resistor will cure that problem. Stay tuned.

I certainly appreciate both Don and Cole working this through!
I flipped the switch to disable the strobe on the third brake light and no more 1295. It really was that simple!
I no longer get 1295 at all even with the hazards + brakes applied.
I have (all from VetteLights):
Laser LED tails
Laser LED markers
Laser LED third brake (strobe off)
Laser LED front corner assemblies
I absolutely love the look, and couldn’t be happier. The car is in for some radiator and condenser cleaning, but I’ll take pics later this week.
All those tail light. They have resistor in the back except the third brake light some guys they have so much problem with the codes through 3 brake light they need to add resistor for it , you lucky you have only one code 😄. ... By the way they look great 👍. Here is my modifier front DRL + turn signal
