Default F55 Rear Shocks Source??

I have a 2000 C5 Coupe that I changed from the F45 to the F55 Option with a GM Performance Parts Kit GM # 12499507 in 2010. The F55 front shocks are leaking. My plan is to replace all four shocks. The part numbers listed in the F55 conversion documentation circa 2010 are all null and void. Norman Frede Chev in Houston was able to obtain the F55 front shocks but the two different rear shock part numbers can't be found anywhere. A few people in this forum mentioned Rock Auto which is funny because when I go to the Rock Auto website they don't even list Corvettes. The dealer hopes that the 2004 F55 optioned Vet rear shocks are applicable to my 2000 F45 to F55 vehicle but 'we' have yet to verify this belief. Anybody know where I can obtain the F55 rear shocks for my 2000 C5? The RH rear shock is Part Number 88963692, the LH rear is # 88963693 as shown in instructions provided in the conversion kit # 12499507 documentation # 88963647 (yes even the documentation has its own part number albeit none of this is currently obtainable). Thanks, Ken Goodwin, Houston, Texas

Not sure what happened when I looked at Rock Auto previously but had no problems accessing Corvette this time - must have been operator error. I checked again and your info showed the F55 shock was applicable for 2003 - 2007 models but not my 2000. I saved my F45 computer but the F45 shocks are probably not available. The numerous restoration shops indicated that converting over to regular shocks (coil over ??) was driven by parts availability and not the desire to down mode from F55. It is sad since the F45/F55 options were the only option that I could quite easily feel the outstanding improvement. I suspect the days of car restoration is going the way of the gas and oil business. Not sure how you keep a classic going when for example, one of the many computers has headed south. But as one of my mentors told me "nothing goes away, it only gets far more expensive". I was able to find the replacement F55 front shocks which are leaking to the point of seeing oil drops form on the shocks. The rear shocks look pristine so the current plan is to replace the front, not the rears and hope for the best. Thanks for the response and time consumed attempting to assist me.
