Hi I just finished rebuilding my trans and diff. I test started the car to look for any leaks and issues and I noticed the driver halfshaft had a significant wobble over the passenger side. The driver side was a brand new oreillys axle.

Great video post!
OK your brake line is rubbing the CV joint, before you drive your car you MUST ispect the brake line for damage and secure your brake lines to the craddle.
Craddle Brake Line secure points
Regarding the wobble...if the suspension is hangeing in the air and you are spinning the drivetran, there in no bearing in the differential side cover on the passenger side the supports the half shaft...
Shaft support bearing is installed in the cover on the right above photo.
Inspect and secure booth your rear brake lines, put the car back on the ground and take is out for a test drive, for vibration that is speed releated, then inspect that shaft for an oil leak to see if the wobble is too exttreme.
This is the root of your problem. Their axles are GARBAGE. If you take it up over 100 and don't cut a brake line, your boots will expand and cut themselves to pieces. Get a good OE used axle, or reboot your original and reinstall.
So just to follow up on this, do you or anybody else have a good source for C5 inner axle boots?
A couple years ago I accidentally cut the inner boot on an axle while dealing with diff reinstall or something. I wound up putting in an auto parts store axle and it's been "fine".
I intend to eventually replace the stock axle's inner boot, and bought 2 different boots but neither has given me a warm and fuzzy feeling:

For the C5, no. I rebooted my truck's front CV a couple years ago and tracking down a good part took some homework. You don't want a run of the mill rubber boot, those suck. They'll balloon at speed and crack and dryrot in short order. Neoprene I believe used to be the material of choice, but the boot I got my hands on ended up being a thermoplastic material. If it's not rubber and not cheap, you're probably on the right path.

From my perspective, your recommendation to "reboot your original and reinstall" doesn't really work without known-good parts.
At least with the auto parts store axle, if a boot or something fails they'll often replace the axle via warranty.
For reference I've done a good dozen-plus CV axle re-boots in the past. The Audi B5 A4/S4 platform (where I came from pre-C5 Corvette) eats front axle boots, even when they're "good quality" brands, if the car is lowered like my several Audi B5s were.

Yeah I totally glossed over parts selection, buy a junk boot and you're in the same boat as a garbage replacement axle.
