TPMS disable problem in 2001 Coupe

TPMS disable problem in 2001 Coupe
I went to my friend who has the Tech2/MDI device and we tried to disable TPMS from this 2001 Coupe.
We got to "body" and from there we choose "F0 Tire pressure monitor" but there wasn't a tick box chosen. It seemed like the option was already disabled. I still get the TPMS error in DIC though.
When we got to "F1 Tire pressure monitor DTC", we got immeaditaly an error "No communications with vehicle".
We tried shutting down the computer, ignition off and so on but it was always the same: When we tried to go to that "F1", it showed a communication error.
Few weeks ago this was succesful procedure with another 2001 Coupe with this same device.
What could be the problem with this car?

Can you normally communicate with the RFA module also called the RCDLR (Radio Controlled Door Lock Receiver) with the scan tool ??...if you can communicate you will be able to view RFA live data...you can try disconnecting the receiver while you are getting the "no comm" and see if communication returns
