Small Leak

2000 Convertible and the only place I get water coming into the car is where the driver's side window moulding meets up.

The moulding appears fine and it doesn't happen on the passenger side. Is there a solution for this?

Red circle denotes where window moulding meets up when top is up and where water is leaking into the car.

Mine has leaked since getting car in 2003, I just assume all convertibles leak in the rain.

If you get yours to stop I’ll look into it if something simple.

Get some foam rubber with one side sticky and put in between. It will fill up your gap.

Thank You. I was thinking along the same direction so a few weeks ago I applied a liberal amount of petroleum jelly to both sides of the rubber, assuming it would seal better when closed.

But foam rubber seems like a better solution.
