Default C5 Seat Tracks Moving

I have a 2000 C5, which I am going to sell. Recently the drivers seat started to move about 1/2 inch under braking. Very disconcerting! I mentioned it to one of my brothers when he was in the car and he told me the passenger seat has been doing that for quite some time. I went and looked at the parts diagram and can't see where it is prior to pulling the seats and I don't want to spend a lot to fix it once I do. In addition, my legs are paralyzed, so pulling the seats is a bit more involved for me, so having an idea of what I'm getting into will help. Has anyone else experienced this and what was your fix? Thanks

Unfortunately this is an almost universal problem with these. The threaded bushings that support the seats fore and aft movement have spacers that will deteriorate and cause the play.

Search for "c5 seat track repair" there are videos and kits to repair these, but it involves almost complete disassembly of the seat base

Thanks much! At least that will head me in the right direction.
