Hi everyone, I am a new owner of a 2002 Corvette. I have always wanted one as long as I can remember. I sold my 2017 Camaro SS and bought one outright. I have been trying to find someone around the Sandusky Ohio area to delete the active suspension F45. Need help any suggestions?
Beware - the BCM programming needs to be changed, and this is where the column lock recall was done.
When I had mine done they over-wrote the locking column fix the dealer had previously done.
I drove it home and the column locked up, I was dead in the driveway.
There is a little $40 piece of hardware to prevent the column from EVER locking up. A good investment.
Youre trying to get rid of the sport touring competition control **** valved shocks in place of regular base shocks or such? I believe with a tech 2 under chassis suspensions f45 turn it off and unplug two of the connectors in the left rear trunk compartment to the f45 suspension box from what i was told will have it disabled. Plugging the two connectors back in will turn the f45 suspension back on.
Here are the instructions posted a while ago for using the Tech2 to remove the F45 option. This works for all 1997 to 2003 cars. There is a different process for the 2004 that I have not found yet.

1. Hook up Tech 2, turn car on, make sure module in the rear is plugged in. Do not unplug the rear module.
2. Use Tech 2 to delete the F45 option (F55 does not appear on the menu screen, use F45).
3. Save new configuration.
4. Do not turn car off, do not remove Tech 2. Go to the module in the rear of the car, unplug the grey connector (the widest one), leave any other plug(s) in. [leave the other 1 (F45) or 2 (F55) plugged in]
5. Turn off car, leave Tech 2 plugged in.
6. Remove remaining plugs from module in the rear of car. [never plug them back in again, if you do the F45 turns on automatically]
7. Turn car on to verify the "max speed 80 mph" is gone.
8. Unplug Tech 2.
Remove the F45/F55 module from the car to prevent it from being plugged back in. It is on a spring loaded bracket.
