I’m looking at a 04 z06 with 45000 miles. Mild cam, long tube headers And twin turbos. When you put air on max you get a loss of power and engine shuts down. After you clear code it start up and runs fine. It will run on low air and blows cold.
suggestions for new guy. Thanks. I am not a mechanic at all. I like to go fast though.

Welcome to the forum! As mentioned above you can pull the codes through the DIC without having to get a code reader. If you can get us the codes, it will give a better idea of what's going on. The C5 is a FANTASTIC car. What are you primarily intending to use the car for? To be honest, that's probably not the best car for you if you don't have any mechanical skills. However, that's just my opinion. If you have a really good mechanic, you might be okay. If you don't mind my asking, how much do they want for it? That would factor into the decision too. Good luck!
