Traction control error after hyper flash module install
I’ve spent endless hours exorcising the electrical demons out of my C5. I have completed all the normal fixes (i.e., service the ground points, EBCM rebuild, new relays in the door modules, column lock/LMC5 module, re-solder the connections in the temperature control display, etc.) and I’ve been running clean for several months. Recently I upgraded my front turn signals, side markers, and tail lights to LEDs. I bought them all from VetteLights in a kit with a hyper flash module. Immediately after the module install, I started to get the all too familiar service traction sys and service active hndlg warnings. Before I break out my can of cuss words, I’m curious if anyone has experienced and fixed this problem before? Any ideas would be appreciated.

This may seem like a dumb question but I promise it's relevant from my own experience: is the traction control button plate plugged in? The one that's between the shifter and armrest. My '01Z will throw a traction control fault if it's unplugged.
If that's not it, then we'll need to know what your current fault codes are. You can read them out from the DIC.
Mine has LED corner lights, halo LED taillights, "laser" side markers, and hyperflash harness. Also I'm in Costa Mesa, looks like you're local in Irvine.
Okay. This may seem odd to you, but it happened to me.
I was replacing my wiper stalk so I had to remove the kick panel to access the wiper harness.
Now if you remove it without removing the radio bezel, it's a bit of a wedge since the top right corner fits over the ignition cylinder but under the radio bezel. Tricky!
At any rate, when I completed my re-installation, those messages immediately came on the dash. I had no issues before.
Then I noticed that my ignition key was turning a bit harder than usual. It was pressed on.
I removed the panel again, and reinstalled it where the key cylinder was not wedged and the fit was cleaner. Apparently , I had wedged the panel and it did not fit right.
After the adjustment, I had no more issues with the traction control messages. It's worth a check.....
To really do it right, the radio bezel needs to come out, but I did not feel like going through it then.

Thanks for your reply. I wouldn't put it past me to forgot to plug that in. I double checked the traction control button connection on the center console panel and it was good. I took out the hyperflash module and everything returned to normal (no codes). I replaced the module and the problems reappeared. I even have a second hyperflash module from Vette Lights (bought two different kits) and it has the same issues. My next call is to Vette Lights to see if they have any ideas. Below are the codes I see when I first install the module.

Thanks for your reply. It's funny you mention that, as I saw the same behavior. I got lazy and only removed the kick panel without removing the radio bezel panel on the first attempt and I experience the same tight ignition cylinder behavior. I removed the radio bezel to improve the fit. Unfortunately I'm still seeing this behavior with both panels properly fitted to the car. I present don't have the radio bezel panel on the car as I've troubleshooting and still seeing the issue. Thanks for the idea.

I have a hyperflash unit that I have yet to install . Hopefully yours is just defective and can be replaced. I have installed some LEDs in the front corners.
I have used a hyperflash unit in the past as many others have. I did not have that problem. Maybe they can send you a fresh one. I ordered mine from Amazon but I think they are all made by Corvette Envy. At least the one I bought is.
I just finished installing the hyper flash module and I get the traction control error when I use the hazards to test them. Normal use of turn signals doesn't appear to trigger the traction control warning.
