Hey all, in process of replacing my PS pump and looking for comments on the Turn One replacements (Street, HP1, HP2) VS Stock replacement (like a Cardone)
My application is a 01 Coupe with an A&A kit. I do a few HPDE events and drag racing during the year.
I had my rack rebuilt by Turn One earlier this year. I replaced the PS pump with a Turn One HP2 pump at the same time as the job was such a pig, I didn't want to have to touch it again.
After 13 track days this year, it's running great.
I haven't bought their PS pump, but I had my rack rebuilt by Turn One. I'm extremely happy with their work and if their pumps are anywhere near as high quality of work as they do on the racks I strongly recommend them.
Generally speaking, remanufactured parts are junk. I'm sure there are exceptions, but I've seen far more problems than the cost savings is worth. I understand not everyone has a wide budget, but in the long run it's cheaper to buy the $100 part once vs the $75 part twice.
Turn one rebuilt my rack and I have their big bad steering pump ( I run a 315 front tire) and their stuff is super nice. The pulley is nice because you can finally access all the bolts.
I actually have a stock rebuilt steering pump with their stock sized pulley already on it if you are interested.

If you ever have to take the pump off, I always recommend going to a C6 pulley as it makes accessing the bolts much easier.
