Just wondering do all rear windows eventually come unglued convertible. My 2002 still looks perfect car is always stored in garage never in direct sun for very long. Thanks.
The rear window coming unglued is a problem in the Verts. Is it inevitable on yours? Unknown. I have fixed mine 2 times in 4 years. Feel fortunate that yours has not. Not hard to reattached with the glues on the market, Just time consuming.
I re-attached mine with 3M specific double sided tape VHB 5952F when the car was 110kmiles… it is now 125kmiles in the Swedish Scandinavian weather, rainy and cold…
It has been in Texas for several years in conditions I don’t know.
as @rrwirsi write, impossible to know if yours will fail. Just enjoy and be ready to do it one day. It is not difficult at all, just takes some time for a proper preparation and correct curing time. You have very good detailed info in the forum for this. Maybe you’ll need to “invest” in suction cups like I did….

IDK if it's inevitable that all verts lose their rear windows, but mine did. I fixed it in 2014, 40,000 miles ago. Still holding/sealing well. IMHO, 8 years/40,000 miles qualifies as a pretty damn good fix. FWIW, I used 3M Window Weld. As of right now, just finished a 1,300 mile trip to Florida, all good. I see no reason it won't last another 6 years/60,000 miles, at which time it will equal the longevity an miles of the OEM window. To be honest, if I am still alive, and still have the car, even if the window is still good, the top will be looking pretty "dog eared", and at that point I'll buy a new top.....
