The red light on the inside of my passenger door panel buzzes when I listen to music or talk radio or while I'm just driving. I can reach over and press on it and it stops for about 5 minutes or until the next bass line comes up. This is something hat drives me insane! Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone have a fix for this? I would rather not have the dealership charge me an arm and a leg just to look at it. Thank you in advance for any help.
My doors rattle in places and that is one of them. I already fixed the bose emblem, but the reflector is next.
It pops right out if you pry one side of it. I might try some dynomat or frost king shielding on the back of the panel. Anything that sticks and absorbs vibration will take care of it. You could also try buying a thin piece of rubber or felt, cut it into strips, and "Pack out the opeing the reflector sits in. I used this method on my visors as they jiggled in the holder. I cut a small, thin strip and glued it into the holder, let it dry for a while, and now it works great.
Sometimes just tightening screws and adding rubber washers will help too. I'm not sure how many screws/bolts are in the door, but its worth a look.
Mine has had this issue for a long time, I tired holding the "Bose" logo down on the speaker grill, sure enough it was loose, a bit of clear glue fixed the "bass" problem.

Yes, I had the exact same thing on my '98 coupe, popped the reflector assembly and determined that the reflector was rattling around in the bezel. so I glued the reflector to the bezel with soft rubber ashesive and as a precaution also used foam tape on the back or the bezel to damp possible vibration because by then I was tired of listening to it--worked for me.
As I recall, mine was very noticable at lower speeds and on certain fairly smooth surfaces and it drove me nuts.
