Default Rev9 Engine Oil Cooler Feedback

I have started to use my C5 for High Performance Driving Events and want to add an oil cooler. The Rev9Power Engine Oil Cooler looks similar to the Doug Rippie Motorsports "street" kit at a more attractive price. Does anyone on this forum have experience with this Rev9Power Engine Oil Cooler?

I don't have any experience with this particular kit but the cooler is pretty small and of unknown quality. DRMs smaller street cooler has 19 rows (I believe) and is made by Setrab.

What temps are you seeing on the track? A thermostat is highly recommended so you do not overcool your oil

There are 2 things I dont like to skimp on. Oil and safety.

My DRM track oil cooler has been rock solid for the last 2 years, has a name brand Setrab cooler with name brand Aeroquip hose and fittings. Keeps temps manageable and doesnt leak. Would hate to install a cheaper kit and find oil leaks on the fittings or out of the cooler rows, cause I have seen it happen on low quality AN stuff.

.......Or have a line blow out, cause an immediate oil slick, and hurt, or even kill, the driver and/or others.....

At the end of a 20 minute session, oil temps are 265-275F at Waterford Hills (relatively low speed track). I’d like to keep them in the 240-250F range.

i certainly do not want to skimp on quality for all the reasons listed above. Just curious if anyone has used this kit.
