Hiss/whine when accelerating?

Hiss/whine when accelerating?
Hello!
Having even more issues with this car. Whenever I accelerate I hear a hiss/air type of sound, and at higher rpm’s (3.5k+) a whine appears.
These sounds can only be heard from inside the car, on the outside the engine sounds perfectly healthy.
Gears also started sticking a bit, they don’t go in as smooth and the shifter feels more notchy
What can be the cause of this? Failing transmission?

Yes, stock shifter and clutch. 99 FRC.
Looks like a vacuum leak - I don’t have a check engine light but the AC also started working choppy, I hear a wind/shuttering air type of sound when it’s on.
How do I figure out where the leak is?
